I most of the weekend converting to digital, TV's, Tuner Cards, STB's and a couple of DTA's.

I managed to get my USB UIRT changing the channel on a DTA (pace dc50x). Everything seems to be working with one exception.

It's been so long since I fooled with it that I've forgotten how to reset my TV guide. I went to Schedules Direct and changed my line up from analog and replaced it with the digital package. After that I updated the EPG, it looks the same to me?

Is there something I have to do with xmltv?
Do I need to empty the EPG and just re-setup recordings?
Should I just delete the whole capture source and redo it all?

Any thoughts from those of you who have gone before??

Just in case anyone else is looking for an answer to this question as well. The answer was to make sure you've setup your new lineup with schedules direct (or whoever), run the config in the xmltv directory and finally remove and re-setup the capture source, save everything and then update the EPG.

You will have to re-setup all you're pending recordings. I was hoping there was a less painful way to do this but if there was I couldn't find it.

I think you could try to import the recordingdump.xml via the gbpvr-config-plugins screen. The season recordings etc are all in there.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

That might be a good idea for someone making the switch who has a lot of pending recordings. It only took a couple of minutes for me to -re-setup my recordings, I'm finding TV these days doesn't have much worth recording. Wink
