Thanks again for all your help. I deleted the web directory under GbPvr and then reinstalled the latest Enhanced WebAdmin and now skipping works! Not sure if there was a problem with my web admin install, or it the latest version is required. I jut installed build 81 which was dated July 2, 2009.

Good news. While I was out this afternoon, I was thinking that you should also check the date for the web\bin folder's copy of the recording service and I bet that web admin reinstall triggered a proper update.
