Recently, I found that the recordings are not playing well. Nothing on the systems (hardware not software) were changed.
The recordings will play for a while and freeze. If it is played via GBPVR you will see the the time advances but the picture is still and no sound. If I move the time bar to a later time, say several minutes later, it will play alright.
The same recordings will always freeze at exactly the same minutes & seconds. I tried to play the mpeg file on other programs/devices, the programs/device also get choked at the same minutes & seconds.
The strange thing is I have no problem with live TV however long that I watch.
Is that my Hauppauge PVR150MCE getting to its end of life? Or it is something else. Frankly, Hauppauge PVR is getting rarer and rarer in this part of the world. If I have to get a replacement, I might as well get it earlier before it goes extinction.
