I accidentally moved the directory (using windows explorer) containing the recordings. I have moved it back but gbpvr still doesn't "see" them. How can I get them back in gbpvr. Thanks.
If you tend to do this often or have recordings on an external drive, then you can set <AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>false</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings> in config.xml and it won't remove missing recordings from the database. The downside being that if you want to delete them with something other than gbpvr, they stay there. (for me it was worth setting it to false).
One of these days, I'll write something that scans the database and the files to list what is in one but not the other.

I leave it set to false, then every few weeks, when I have all my external drives up and running, I set it to true, start gbpvr, then set it back to false. It cleans all the old stuff out when it starts. My problem was that it cleaned everything out if I inadvertently had the external drive off.

I usually suffer the other way round - a recording is deleted from the database but is still on disk. I have a feeling this is mainly when deleting from a PC client, but haven't been able to pin it down as it doesn't happen often.
I notice it when doing an mpegimport / vidimport and find stuff that I know has been deleted.
