Actually, I seem to be having the same problem. My box wakes up when a recording is scheduled, but so far I haven't seen it updating the EPG (yes, the checkbox is checked...)

What xmltv app are you using? Gbpvr doesn't do any magic in order to download the xmltv-file (unless you're using zap2it); you need to fix that in some way. What update EPG does is to - given an updated xmltv file - update the EPG :-) You can however in the (you can create it if it doesn't exist) updateEPG.bat file start your xmltv app and make it download the data before the epg is updated.

I've been having the same problem. I posted a thread in the Support Forum (see here), but have yet to find the cause or a solution.

I'm using o2grabber and I've got it in my UpdateEPG.bat. Now, I'm not 100% sure what goes wrong. I mean, I know that I sometimes (10% of the time or so) have network issues when waking up from hibernation, but still..

One thing I've noticed though is that when forcing an EPG update (from config or from the taskbar icon) the batch file doesn't run. Is that by design or is it cause to believe that I've done something wrong?

I know I'm coming into this thread a little late, but I'd like to get it back to the original topic: a sleep timer for gbpvr. That's the only feature I miss right now.

I just want to be able to tell gbpvr to stop playing video/audio/whatever after a configured number of minutes. If gbpvr has to shut itself down completely, that's fine.
