With the 1.4.7 version I cannot pop up the GBPVR client on my work room computer and schedule a recording from the TV guide. Tried this on two different computers with different OS (XP and Win 7 x64). All other things are as usual. I can view live TV and recordings etc, just not schedule new ones. From the server machine it works of course.

I think you are going to have to supply logs from both client and server. I have just tried doing that and it worked fine from this PC client.

What happens when you try to record - does the recoding menu pop up?, how far does it get?

p.s. just tried another client and ok with that one as well.

im going to ask the obvious question - you've allowed users to change files in the gbpvr share, yes? cause if its just shared, i dont think the client can effect the database.

It is probably be that easy, i.e allowing read/write. I have just reinstalled gbpvr on another drive and probably forgot to setup share specifics. Hmm, emberassed... :o

Thanks for the pointer...
