1.4.7 + MVP + long file names = reboot?

I haven't used my MVP in a long time, but following the 1.4.7 upgrade I decided to give it a run round the houses to check I hadn't done something daft and wouldn't you know it...
It appears that the MVP reboots if the filename is long. I haven't got to the exact length when the reboot occurs, but it would seem to be happening with filenames (including path) of more than 120 characters.
In looking in the MVP log it just looks like the MVP quits (see below)

I'm running from XP with the standard dongle.

GBPVR has been stable for me for so long, I've forgotten how to fix things! What have I broken?

There is a config.xml setting for the MVP to disable long filenames which should be set.

<MVPUseShortFilenamesOnNMT>true</MVPUseShortFilenamesOnNMT>

Just the job - thanks Martin. With the config set to true, I've got no problems at all.

Is this 'problem' new to 1.4 ? Im still on 1.3.11 and I have some dang long file names, and that config setting is False.

This is a very interesting finding. I've been experiencing "mysterious" PC reboots (XP Pro) when turning my MVP off (thread). This was happening with both 1.4.7 and the previous version (1.3.11). I was at a complete loss as to what was causing the reboots.

I've made the config.xml change that mvallevand recommended and will monitor the effects. I hope this solves my "mystery" problem even though I don't have an NMT -- just a couple of MVPs!
