Can anyone explain the meaning of the two entries below in the config.xml file under the BDA settings area?

<BDAIgnoreRadioDuringChannelScan>true</BDAIgnoreRadioDuringChannelScan>
<BDAIgnoreHiddenChannels>true</BDAIgnoreHiddenChannels>

The default values are true, but if they were set to false, would GBPVR attempt to add channels that may show up in, for example, Win TV from Hauppauge but wouldn't normally show up in GBPVR digital scan?

And would the radio channels show up as well?

Or am I way off on my thoughts?

<BDAIgnoreRadioDuringChannelScan>
This setting is going mean more outside of north america, where DVB radio is common, ie channels with only audio, no video. If its set to false, then it'll include these types of channels. If its set to true, then you'll only get channels that also have video.

<BDAIgnoreHiddenChannels>
This is probably only relevant outside north america. In DVB channels there is a flag to say if a channel is hidden or not. This setting indicates whether GB-PVR will include those channel in the scan results.

Thanks Sub for the clarification. Comcast Digital in San Jose has audio and video for the genre stations, but it ALSO provides some local radio stations over cable AND they don't have video tied to them. When I watch/listen to these stations with a STB, I just get a black screen on these. I'll play around with the radio setting and perhaps get lucky Smile

I'm working on an update for the Web Radio plugin that plays digital audio directly as audio in GBPVR I'm looking for some help testing QAM or ATSC audio, if you are intested. I can play around 70 QAM audio channels and it works well on my PC and on my PCH.

I've not really used the web radio plugin, but I'd certainly be able to help test.
