Hi all,
not sure if I have 1 problem or a couple...

I have 2 tuner cards (same model - 90002) with a signal booster/splitter feeding both cards.
I get slightly different flavours picked up in the scans from each card.
I'm using DVB as the EPG and also it seems to pickup the incorrect audio channel for some of the channels (ie it uses the Audio #2 channel).

I also dont seem to get ITV1/ITV2 & +2

Any ideas what can be going wrong here ? As I said I think I may have a couple of problems...

Excellent, thats cleared up the rescanning!
Anyone know why each card picks up a couple of different channels to the other ?

Try using this tool http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=18418 to scan both tuners and see if the strength/quality is similar on both.

Also did you scan at the same time? part-time channels that don't transmit 24hrs catch folk out

Sub - I've had trouble with Audio#2 streams on and off for a while now. I hoped that the new config patch would eliminate this. I replaced config.exe with the new one, deleted both tuners (Nova T500) and rescanned. The first scan for tuner one was great and allowed the channel selection correctly. The scan for the second tuner showed many channels and their Audio#2 streams with the same audio and video PID (unfortunately the Audio#2 stream!). Selecting the channels that should have been 'Audio#1' resulted in Audio#2 tuning requests.
I have run the signal strength/quality app and I have strength ~50 and quality = 100 for every mux listed.
What am I doing wrong? This is very frustrating - getting loads of recordings with either no sound or voice commentary!

mof try this link - it's not a cure but a workaround

(Martin123's Post)

It can be tedius scrolling to the new channels but if you press the first letter of the channel it will only scroll to channels starting with that letter.

Thanks Jef - I stumbled through the work around a couple of times before it seemed to work, but it's ok now. Much obliged!

Just in case sub missed the thread on general discussion some time ago...

If you use the DVB EPG then you do not get an option of manually mapping/remapping channels after the initial scan. You need to set the EPG source to NONE, scan/map and reset it back to DVB. As shown in this post http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...stcount=13
