Hello

I have a Hauppauge PVR-350 tuner. Since I've upgraded to Windows 7, the TV application that came with the card (WinTV) won't work. So I found your program, but I have a problem to configure it:

I downloaded the program from this forum and installed it without problems. When I start PVRX2 i come to the main menu (I think), but nothing happens when I click on 'Live TV'. I think I have to configure the program first, but when I open 'Config' in the Start Menu, or the config.exe in the main directory, a 'do you want to allow'-message appears, but after pressing Yes, nothing happens.
I found all my channels with the TuningAssistent.exe, but I seem to have no effect for the main program.

Is this (config menu won't show up) a common problem with Windows 7 or have I missed something? I tried to run it in compatibility modus and with administrator rights (but it ask for them anyway at every start), but tehre is still no sign of a configuration menu...

Can you help me with this problem?
Thank you

It sounds like you didnt setup your capture source in the config app.

Thank you for your fast response. Maybe I wrote a little bit confusing, but the config app is exactly the problem:

I cannot open the config app! When I 'open' it, nothing happens (except for a for a windows security warning from the UAC). And yes, I do allow to make changes on my computer.

Do you get a config.exe.log file created in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\logs? If so, post it. If not, check for any error messages in the Windows Event Viewer.

Yes it creates log files, it is attached. (I deleted the date, so it is small enough to upload)

Regarding the PVR 350 problem, although I don't think GBPVR officially supports it anyway, I do recall reading the default drivers don't work here were the steps needed to get the proper drivers http://gregarius.dropcode.net/demo/BetaN...dia_Center

GBPVR doesn't support the hardware decoder that's on the 350, but the tunerchip + hardware encoder work fine. They are similar to the Haupp. 250 I think. I have a 350 and I'm very happy with it, the tuner/encoder quality is significantly better than that on the 150 I have.
However, I don't know if there are specific problems with Win7.

Funnily enough, the config app just seems to work out of nowhere...I don't think I've done something specific. Some more resets of course.
But the picture form my pvr-350 was extremely blurry, so I've installed MediaPortal which works fine with me.
Thank you for you help anyway!
