Been using GBPVR for years now, love the program. Thank you Sub. My old XP got to where it would barely run anymore so I did a clean install of Win7. Installed all prereq's and latest version of GBPVR. Setup Hauppauge 1600 and schedules direct. Clicked update epg and waited. It said requesting... saving...closed. No channels are listed. Closed it out, rebooted, all the normal stuff. Please tell me what I am missing.

Thanks.

I had the same problem, try to update the epg with the "epg update" button from the menu in "system".

I tried that and had the same results. It looks like it is going through, but no channels populate the channel list. I am therefore unable to map the channels. Thanks for the suggestion. Any other ideas?

Ok, I nuinstalled and reinstalled GBPVR with no success. Looking through the logs, I think this might be my problem.

Quote:2009-11-24 06:04:41.962 VERBOSE [7] skipping lineup: TX42822:X 'Time Warner Cable' 'Bedford' 'CableDigital' 75007

It looks like it is just ignoring the lineup for some reason. Any ideas?

I give up for the night. Going to bed.

Thanks.

It only skips a lineup if you entered a specific lineup code on the screen in the capture source setup where you enter your schedules direct username/password.

I understand that, but the lineup it is skipping is the one I am specifying. I currently only have one lineup. I have tried this with both the specified lineup and without on the screen where I enter my username and password for Schedules Direct.

Thanks.

Edit: Nevermind. It is working now. It went through on the first try this morning. Maybe SD was down last night or they just cut me off for trying to many times. Either way, it is working. Thank you.

So what I have found is that if I just enter my username without any listing behind it, and I only have one listing setup in schedules direct, it works fine. If I specify a listing and/or have more than one listing setup on the Schedules direct web site, it ignores the listings. I also setup the atsc side of the card to see if it was a problem with just the digital lineup. It had the same results as the first one. I have attached my latest logs hoping someone can help. Thank you.

Ok, I finally figured it out. It was a problem with my Browser, Mozilla Firefox.

I was going into Schedules direct and the lineup for my account. I was copying the last part of the html code. The problem on mine was the colon (Smile was being translated to %3A so the code read TX42822%3AX when it should have read TX42822:X. It appears to be working now.

Thank for all the help and a great program.

Yep, that'd do it. I had actually noticed that in the logs, but thought maybe you were entering the correct thing, and GB-PVR was encoding the colon. I'm glad to hear it was the browser doing it, and that you got it resolved.
