Ok...try the following.....
The 3 key components are
- Video Bitrate (higher is better but takes more bandwidth and CPU on the host)
- Video Size - Preset vs. Scale....preset is convenient but scale can provide you higher bitrate throughput leading to better quality....if you have a good recording and a high bitrate you can always use the VLC client to expand the viewing size to what you want it to be with little impact to picture quality.
- Preset vs. Manual Transcode.....preset is convenient but going Manual and selecting H264 as the codec and the encoder you can get much better results.
