What's the best DVB-T card?

I'm so sick of issues - not going there right now.

What I want is a good Dual-Tuner (not hybrid Analog+Digital) - just two seperate DVB-t channels. Two seperate single tuner cards would be ok as well.

GOOD. as in, handles poor signal well, drivers are robust, works with GBPVR without fiddling around.

Price is no object (not anymore - all the time I've wasted on issues with cards up to now would be worth thousands of dollars)


Or should I just get Tivo? (I think you can get Tivo in australia now?)

I use a hauppauge WinTV-Nova-TD-500.
This is a dual tuner DVB-T card - in which you can use 1 antenna input for both tuners - or for lower reception areas - you can have 2 inputs.

Seems to work good for me - so thought id throw that into the mix.

Kyle, are you using your Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-TD-500 with Windows XP and if yes, is this the standard version or the Media Centre version? Are you using any special drivers or just what came with the card? I'm considering buying the Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-T-500 and I have read that most are revision / version 2.1, which is essentially a rebadged TD-500.

There is some issues with Windows7 drivers for this device, so I'd think about alternatives if you're intending to use it with Win7. I'm sure it'll be fixed, but you might need to wait a while.

I've no immediate plans to move to Windows 7 but XP cannot last too much longer, so fingers crossed the support will be there as you say.
