Hey Roy I just wanted to give you a big THANK YOU!! I've been looking for a (cheap) way into building a dvr and considering something to get my feet wet. I'm sure all you guys are gonna be sick of answering my questions soon enough!!

the analog on that one is software encoded, so probably won't do analog in gbpvr..
but digital should be fine... Smile

[i see they erroneously say the 650 has software encoder, but 650 is hardware encoder..]

Thanks for posting that roy, I'd not heard of woot! before... unfortunately I missed the deal, the PCI version is gone, and the PCIe version does me no good since my sole PCIe slot is already occupied.
I'll be watching woot! in the future though.
