I don't do any HD or Blu Ray (yet) but I'm running a Sempron 2600+ with 1.5 GB PC3200, (1) internal SATA drive (jumpered back to 150), FX5200 AGP card and a PVR500 internal tuner as well as a HDHomeRun network tuner. Using a powerline network bridge to connect to the router. Does pretty much everything I need it to but I only display video on the main machine and one PS3.

At some point closer to spring (once the tax return and yearly bonus roll in) I'll probably gut the machine for a dual/quad core setup with (at least) 4 GB of RAM and HD-capable video. Definitely want the capability of displaying HD video and no issues feeding video over the network to the PS3 and/or other PC's.

A while back I had a (non-DVR) Comcast HD box that worked with the Timmoore FireSTB drivers - I've since "upgraded" to a DVR box that my wife mostly uses but I find mostly useless other than as a stopgap to record stuff I want to watch in HD. I'd like to trade back to the old box and work on getting the firewire connection to work again, once I get my machine up to snuff for HD video.
