Ah, right you are (shocking I know). That device does not have a hardware encoder so it won't work natively with GBPVR. It might work with graph recorder plugin though.

K, thx, made the BDA.ini edit Was gonna be my next question, like how do ya set it up to be selected as a "channel" in your BDA Sources Config? Graphin it's one thing, but ya gotta be able to switch from Tuner, to Composite Video somehow, eh?

The bda.ini entry will allow it to be used as an ATSC tuner. With the GraphRecorder plugin, you would set up a separate capture source (with a manual channel I believe). GBPVR will automatically switch the source. Just make sure that you don't schedule a recording on the composite and the ATSC at the same time.

was curious, found why the tuner worked prior to that entry...
found this way down in the original bga.ini, so it was defined all along out of the box from gbpvr 1.47, identical to the one from filtercheck.exe, just a diff name. Code: [inDtube ATSC TVTuner] I still wanna look in to being able to use the composite source, as it'd be a decent way to connect it to a satellite rcvr or cable box. I know it's capable of it, as the crappy commercial sw that comes with the device can do it... I'll scope out the plugin ur pointing to later this eve when i get home... thx again. mt

Created a Graph using GraphEdit which allows me to flop between the
inDtube Analog Tuner, and the inDTube Analog Composite Video Sources. It plays fine in GraphEdit. However I'm getting two error messages after installing and configuring the GraphRecorder Plugin. Gonna try the External Recorder Plugin next and see what happens there... Code: UnableToLocateDll: GraphRecorder.XmlSerializers.dll Must be missin sumthin simple.. |
