Thats the theory - but I cant be 100% sure, unless I came around your house and had a look to check you were definitely getting dropouts etc.

i relocated the antenna, and so far so good...

BTW - why in EVR mode i cant access the menus while watching a video?

Because the user interface is based on Direct3D, and only the Direct3D compatible renderers in GB-PVR are the VMR9 ones, which use Direct3D for displaying each of the frames (allowing them to composited in the one space).

I get this problem occasionally in New Zealand (and constantly when recording C4).

I've had some success recovering the recordings with post processing using HandBreak. It seems to fix the timeline or something. You might still get glitches with the data errors, but it doesn't skip forward.
