I'm running GBPVR with an HVR2250, and on live TV, I hear a little break or glitch in the audio every three or four seconds. I haven't tried much, because I'm not sure where to start. I'm hoping someone has seen something similar...

I get this also, but only when I run Windows 7 and use ffdshow for audio, and only on Mpeg2 audio. I had put it down to a dodgy version of ffdhsow.
Tell us which OS and audio decoder you are using...

Also, tell us what kind of signal you are using (ATSC or QAM) and which mux you are using.

I'm running Windows 7 x64. There are times now that the sound is very choppy. The signal is regular analog cable, and it is doing it on all channels. I didn't have this problem with the HVR1800 I previously used. The sound chip is onboard Analog Devices 1988b. I am running GBPVR out of the box - I haven't changed any settings in it. I hadn't installed ffdshow, so I did. It didn't help. Recordings are fine, by the way...

Installing ffdshow, 32 and 64 bit versions - and setting all the decoders to ffdshow in the config app seems to have solved the problem. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Actually, it seems that setting the decoders to anything other than system default solves the problem.

If anyone can shed to some light on this issue, please do so. I'd love to learn more about this.
