The updated version uses Delete the choice really is yours.

And the delete key is the final mapping for record or is there a chance that it is changed again in a short time

It will really depend on how much I like the mapping on the IRK-200 (the IR remote from the A200/C200) that I am using with the A100 because the colour and page key locations seem better for GBPVR.

I think I am missing something somewhere. I downloaded the new mvpmcx2 from post #1 (downloaded today) and replaced the old copy in my mount folder. I also downloaded the lircd1 from post #9.

At this stage I am only testing with the NMT remote, I also have a MCE remote, but I'm not sure what has changed (or not) on that.

Delete does nothing (actually neither does Angle) I presume it is intended to start a recording whilst watching a live program. PageUp and PageDown change channel. I dont have an mvpmcx2.ini file. Just to prove I am using the copies I think I am, I renamed them and the application wouldn't run.

Since other people seem to have this working, I am obviously doing something wrong - any suggestions?

The new version doesn't change GBPVR functionality, the main purpose of the changes were to provide some keys to EGreat M34a remote users who don't have all the keys on the NMT remote. The Delete key does simply sends the Record key to GBPVR, it used to be on the Angle One example on the TV Guide is it selects record on the current show. It would be nice if it did actually save the current show but that's up to sub.

Here's an update to fix a few things notably Record on LiveTV which has been inadvertently not enabled in PCH2 mode. Now it's a feature! For those that don't now, GBPVR now will save a LiveTV file as a permanent recording if you hit the Record key (defined as Del on the NMT remote). Access to it is in the Recording menu.

Also:

- change in debug message which could cause a crash when video was slow in starting
- hitting stop quickly before a video first loads would crash mvpmcx2
