Are your files on the local drive or a network drive?

On the gbpvrrecordingservice is the option to interact with Desktop checked?

Ok...found the issue....it was a bug in a chnage I put in for hidden/system files.....

Load either the first patch file I posted and this one.....or load the full beta file and then this one.

Many thanks!
It works ok now after loading the Library patch

As an aside,
I realised that when Playing the files I seem to get a better quality than when Streaming it.
i.e. Streaming a movie using VLC player gives me alot of artifacts/boxes making it impossible to watch while Playing it gives me a better viewing experience.
Is there any reason for this?

With that in mind, perhaps I should look to Play rather than Stream via remote PCs, or is that peculiar to me only?

Also streaming now for current programs does not seem to work for me and
I get error message 'stream now failed!'

Great! Glad to hear everything is now working..... Smile

The difference between play and stream is that play sends the file over the network as is.......works great if you have the bandwidth to support it both at the host and at the client......stream transcodes the recording into a different format usually taking far less bandwidth....so whatever works best for your setup is best.
