is GBPVR and PVRx2 two different programs?

I am new and im confused. I downloaded the GBPVR program but when i run it , the exe file is PVRx2. Also, i see some people on this forum say they can get GBPVR to work but not with PVRx2. That to me seem like they are two different programs.

Just wondering that is all. Thanks.

gbpvr.exe was the old interface, pvrx2.exe is the new interface.

they're both gbpvr, just the new one was renamed, i suspect it may change in the future, silly if it doesnt really....

Is there any close caption capabilities in Live tv function? if so , how can i enable it?
