I changed my conversion time in config.exe but it is not working. I rebooted to make sure no unknown service need restarted.

Can you tell me the mechanism as to what service starts the TRANSCODE_QUEUE processing. I have killed the recording process but it still process's the TRANSCODE_QUEUE when it was working. Is it using windows scheduler?

It's working now. I changed the time several times before this, but this time I did not reboot. I would still like the details.

No, its not the Windows Scheduler. The GBPVRRecordingService.exe process has a thread that periodically looks in that table and runs any transcodes that needs to be run.

Thanks I thought I stopped that service at one time and conversions kept running. I could have been mistaken.

With the recording service stopped you shouldnt have seen any new conversions started, but ones that had already started would continue to run, since they are launched as their own processes.
