Upload your logs and I'll check the config. ,mov is a container not a media type so it is possible that the combination doesn't play natively, certainly if the source is a digital cam there could be problems. The MVP doesn't really support .mov or most media stored in a .mov file, GBPVR transcodes it.

Yeh I was aware of the transcoding, these are just the apple .mov's that get downloaded as film trailers from the Cinema plugin, for ages I used to 'pre' transcode them into mpg's but then 1 day discovered that after a slight delay they played flawlessly over the MVP so didn't bother transcoding them in advance any more.

I have't had any problem with .mov trailers, Yes you need to only start 1 MVP server to get proper logging.

thanks Martin, well I never had trouble before so before doing this checked playing one on an MVP, it didn't! Then tried natively on server, it didn't! So it's something else that's changed in the last view days that means I can't play them so thanks anyway, over to another section of Forum I guess.
