Cannot get mcpmcx2 working after re-install - help

After years with no trouble my NMTs give me nothing but "request cannot be processed'. It started after I had to re-install the mvpmc directory. Cannot figure out what has gone wrong. Could one of you experts look at the attached log files, plus read out from NMT checker

Unable to connect to the remote server means the web server isn't running correctly. Does NEWA start from a browser? Your web.log has lots of xbmc spam and not much more. Maybe turn off your xbmc clients, and reinstall and then try again.

I stopped the recording service, deleted the web directory, stopped NPVR, installed 3.2.9 (was running an old version). Also switched off the XBMC client (raspberry pi)

Can now start NEWA from a browser, but still no result from the PCHs ("request cannot be processed"). I restarted them both too. Reinstall mvpmcx2????

Connection is OK, I can play a video over the PCHs if it is in the mvpmc directory. Here is the output from the checker now (different PCH this time, but I get the same result from the other one

That's not, it's not finding your PCH by the IP address you entered.

Your server name shown in NPVR.html as MEDIASERVER and your client calls name don't match. I suspect you tried to fix the NEWA problem by changing the PCH's which is not typically a good idea. Try changing the name on the PCH to MEDIASERVER:mvpmc or simply deleete the mvpmc share and readd it.

Thanks Martin - progress. I get the the interface and menus now, but when I try to play something (on both PCHs) they just give a blank screen for a couple of seconds, then throw me back to the menu. More name problems?

Should have added - recordings play fine through NEWA and a browser
