it's a separate decoder just for h.264 and vc1 only...and you have to turn on hardware acceleration in it to make it even come on..
then you see a different icon in task bar showing dxva decoder when in use..
look in start/programs/ffdshow group for dxva config..

Hardware: HDHR Prime, HDPVR 1212, Raspberry pi2, VFD display w/LCDSmartie
