Hello!
I am sorry if this is written in manual, but I couldn't find it. There are so many settings, plugins and utilities in this software...

Here is my situtation:
I have two Pinnacle PCTV Dual Hybrid tuner cards with 4 channels in total.
4 different channels have to be recorded every day the same time (this is done by scheduling). The first confusion is that those recorded files have to be written in my folder by hours. In iuVCR soft this can be done easily by setting max file time or size. The feature is called "segmentation".
The second thing is that those files have to be automatically named by date and time.
And the last thing is that when I playback any recorded file there have to be recording time and date placed in specified spot. This is called Timestamp in iuVCR.

Is it possible to do these things in GB-PVR? How?

Thank you in advance for your help!

GBPVR allows you to schedule recordings to start and end at specific times every day ...

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manua...dings#toc8

The file name of a recording will include the channel name with the start date and time of the recording. GBPVR has no built in function to specify your own filename.

I don't understand "when I playback any recorded file there have to be recording time and date placed in specified spot".

GBPVR names the files like this:

Show Name_YYYYMMDD_HHMMHHMM.ext

where YYYYMMDD is the date of the start of the show, the first HHMM is the start time, and the second HHMM is the end time (in local time).

The extension of the file will be either .ts, .dvr-ms, or .mpg depending on the MUX being used.

There is no timestamp function though, sorry.
