Hey all, I deleted an analog source and there are 3 channels left over from it that I can't get rid of no matter what I do. I've tried readding them and then manually deleting them but nothing I do seems to get rid of them. I was wondering if there was any way I can get rid of them because I don't want to have to start all over again with GBPVR.

Thanks for your time.

have tried unticking them on the channels tab
then clicking on remove unreferenced channels

click on empty epg restart config then remove the stations

dont know what country you are in but you need to also remove the stations from your epg data otherwise they will just come back next time you update it

Just tried both and unfortunately they didn't help either.

Edit: Eureka! I figured it out, I had recordings from those channels so I had to back them up and then delete them inside GBPVR because I guess GBPVR needed the channels to reference the recordings.

Whew... Man, that's an hour and a half of my life I'll never get back. Big Grin Hopefully tho someone in the future has the same problem and finds this thread. Lemme add a few tags. Big Grin

Channels continue to exist while there are still recordings in the database that came from those channels.

Edit: Just read your second post ...

Actually, this problem was discussed in another thread for the TV Listings plug-in. http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=46009
A slightly different approach to dealing with the problem of old recordings referencing channels that no longer exist was used. You may be interested in that approach in case you have this problem again.
