Hi all. A Newbies first post, apologies if it's been asked before!

I'm running GBPVR on 32 bit XP on a 64 bit proccessor. All is well, and I'm most impressed, thanks to all developers!
I'm aware that 64 bit XP is missing drivers for MCE remotes. Is anyone aware of an unofficial patch, or does GBPVR come with these missing drivers?

Thanks in advance.

im pretty sure it should just work
if not you can use HIP alternate mce driver
if you are running win pro 32bit the eh driver(mce remote driver) should be there when you plug the receiver in it should detect it and just work

you don't use 64bit drivers on win32, use the regular windows 32bit drivers..
64bit processor doesn't matter at all..it's all about the OS..
get sp3 if you don't have the 32bit driver in windows..it adds a newer driver supporting more remotes..

I got the impression the OP was asking this because he or she wants to move to XP x64, not because of a x64 processor running XP x32.

i just don't see the benefit of 64bit for a HTPC...
adds lots of problems, and what does it get you? ability to use more mem? the htpc won't use over 2g...
plus, gbpvr will still be run in 32bit mode in 64bit windows anyways..plus all decoders too...adding a layer of translation..
