Sorry but GB-PVR only supports cards with hardware MPEG2 encoder.

Yes, it might work with NPVR if he can get the Hauppauge SoftPVR components onto his machine.

I just installed nPVR, but I get an error when I start the program, I put the bug in NPVR bugs forum
