Requiring a 3rd party mux ?

What exactly do you use the MainConcept (HCW) MPEG Multiplexer-Plus for ?
I got a (AMD) ATI HD 650 that comes with the ATI mux, so I wonder what the mainconcept mux does, that AMD's version can't ?
(Yeah, I know this is for analog only)

I use it for multiplexing audio/video streams to a transport stream. Most mux filters can only produce a program stream. I'm prettys that is the case with the ATI mux too.
