New program is very slick. Just wondering if I'm the only one that cannot play a DVD? Every time I try I get the following message: No Drive containing a DVD was found.
If I add my DVD drive to the video folder then I can play a DVD that way, but not through the main DVD menu. Not a big concern...just wondering since it works fine in GBPVR. Logs attached just in case.

Thanks,

Mattman

P.S. Also noticed that every day I have to update the EPG because every day it somehow gets wiped out and only displays (no show details).

On my machine DVD playback in NPVR is better that in PVRX2 - the DVD navigator works! (menu animations are actually visible) .
Currently PVRX2 won't even pick up a disc, and the navigator has never worked for me.

When you click 'DVD' in the menu, it looks for a drive with the VIDEO_TS directory off the root.

D:\VIDEO_TS
E:\VIDEO_TS
F:\VIDEO_TS
...etc...
Z:\VIDEO_TS

If it doesnt find a drive with a VIDEO_TS directory off the root then it'll say "No drive containing a DVD was found".

I've noticed mine does this too - with a mixture of DVB EPG and XMLTV. Did you manage to solve this? I've not put any effort in yet as I've been concentrating on playback issues but I'm nearly sorted with them but lack of EPG each day would be a problem... From memory the settings are set to upload the thing at 3am every day, but it doesn't seem to bother, at least, whatever it does just removes what was loaded last time.

I have personally not been able to correct it. It did, however, stay updated for 2 straight days. The third it went blank. Today it is magically back. I will see how it goes from here on out.
