The problem I have is that live TV is TERRIBLE, I get around 1 frame every 2 seconds, or at best a short burst of frames every 2 seconds.

Any help GREATLY appreciated.
Hi mobiusnz,
I encounter the same problem with my Typhoon PVR (which seems identical to the Lifeview Walker Mini). I managed to get round the problem by going into the Config utility, clicking on the "Playback" tab, and changing the Software MPEG-2 Playback Video Decoder from "System Default" to either "Intervideo Video Decoder" or "MainConcept MPEG Video Decoder". Make sure the VMR9 radio button is selected also.
I think the default system decoder doesn't seem to be able to decode the video faster enough for realtime.

p.s. I'm using v1.6 of the lifeview walker mini drivers.

I had thought that I had tried this already, but I tried it again, and it worked! I am still losing the important ability to change channels, though, and when in timeshift mode, after pausing, once I have fast-forwarded back to current time, I loose audio..... Anyone else see this happen?
