I reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Setup. It scanned and found 12 channels which is correct.
When I try live tv it starts but has no sound or picture.

FFDshow is not starting for some reason. Any idea why?

Probably relates to the decoders you have selected

Some versions of ffdshow need you specifically tell it which applications its enabled for, and need NextPVR.exe added to the list.

I got the picture and sound fixed but have only channel 15 atsc.
GB-PVR will record to c:temp but files have 0 bytes. is gb-prv and npvr conflicting each other?

Its probably your firewall software blocking the HDHomeRun data from getting to the application.

both npvr and gb-pvr were in the exceptions. what causes the recordings to have 0 bytes in c:temp?

Usual cause with a HDHomeRun is firewall issues. Other than that, I dont know.

I restarted all the filters in-GBPVR and fixed the manual recording saves.
I can only get 1 channel in NPVR "channel 15" even though it found 12 others.I'm gona let it rest cause GBPVR is working great.

thanks
