Hauppauge! radio32.exe no sound with Windows Vista

While playing around (i think, fm radio will never come back to nPVR) i remembered an old small app from hauppauge, called "radio32.exe". This this little app it's possible to listen to radio... in theorie.

I found a "new" version of Radio 32 (1.54.xxxxx) for usage with the WinTV HVR-2250 and WinTV 6. Me installed this one and tried to tune in with my HVR-2200 (PAL, germany). Yeah! Tuning is working, it can lock the stations at correct frequencies. As far as good, but... i have no sound?

I can see, that radio32.exe is recognizing my card and tuning correctly. But i can not hear anything from this app under Windows Vista. I choosed different audio setups within the app and i tried a few "compatibility modes" for the radio32.exe.

Someone any idea what this could be? With WinTV 7 i can listen to radio, but such a big application is absolutely oversized and (in my case) not interesting (they moved the radio app into the tv app).

Are there any alternatives outside for fm radio with a hvr-2200 or pvr-500mce?
