Multiple Card in the same machine

Hi,

I currently have a Hauppage dual DVB card installed in it running Windows Media Center. I've found this application on the net and it looks quite good.

I'm also looking to buy a Hauppage HD satellite card (WinTV Nova-HD S2). Would these 2 cards work side-by-side in the same machine?

Also, how does this media/tv application compare with Windows Vista MCE?

I can't answer your first question (maybe Sub can, or Haupp. customer support), but this is THE BEST PVR, over ALL versions of MCE

I'm fairly sure you can have two WinTV Nova-HD S2 cards in the one machine.

I can't think of a reason they won't work - hwta is your dual dvb card? I have a couple of machines. One had a nova-t-500 dualdvb-t with a PVR150 analogue and an S350 DVB-S and thay all work together. Second machine has nova-t-500 dual dvb-t with a pinnacle 4000i dual DVB-s and a USB PVR USB analogue tuner - likewise work well together.

You're asking in the wrong place for comparisons with MCE we're all converts.

I use 2 Hauppauge Nova S plus, 1 Nova T 500 and a Pinnacle 3010i which work with no problems.
I find the NPVR vastly superior to MCE, (windows 7 in my case), and much easier to set up.
In UK I use Digiguide as xmltv EPG source which provides me with an EPG for all my channels, MCE only provide now/next on some channels. The only thing I miss with NPVR is a EPG search, which I believe will be incorporated in later editions, I program a weeks recordings each Sunday
