HVR 1300 Analog Tuner not recognised

I followed the instruction for the registration of hcw_mcmpeg2mux.ax , but still can only see the DVB-T Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-T Tuner/Demod device.

I need to use the analog input for the set top box.

Couldn't find any more clues on the forum for resolution. Presumably, I should be able to see both the analog and the digital tuner.

What have I missed?

Here's the log sub, thanks. When I registered the hcw_mcmpeg2mux.ax file, I got a success message, so I'm not sure which are the other encoders apparently missing.

You might need to try editing the AnalogDevices.xml to have:

The existing section had "SOFT_ENCODE" instead, since the "Hauppauge WinTV 88x Video Capture" filter name is mainly used by analog soft encoder devices.
