Could not start NPVR recording service on local computer

I installed npvr yesterday and it seemed to work fine. However, at some point the service stopped working. I tried uninstall, reinstall and nothing worked. I deleted the service through sc delete, reinstalled and I am still getting the same error. I am not really sure the uninstall is doing much. Logs have nothing.

Does an NRecord.log get created? If so, zip and post it.

You really need to use the Start/Stop NPVR Service option NPVR installs in the Start Menu not from the services menu. Your manual clean up attempts might have messed up some things..
