I want to remove a channel from my lineup. I removed it from mc2xml.chl, deleted the .dat and .xml files in the EPG folder, and reran updateepg.bat.

I then ran Config.exe, and deleted the channel from my two capture sources. I emptied the EPGs, and updated them, and the channel is gone everywhere. I have digital cable, and I checked the mappings, and the channel is gone.

The only place it remains is in the TV Guide in GBPVR itself. Also, if I run Live TV and step through the channels, it tries to tune the channel, and jumps back to the main menu when it can't.

How can I get rid of it in the TV Guide, and in Live TV? I reloaded the EPG in System in GBPVR, and that didn't help.

I'm not 100% sure but I think if you have a recording scheduled it keeps it in the guide for that. Perhaps try deleting all scheduled recordings on that channel?

If you have an old recording from that channel, it wont go away as well. I am pretty sure I ran into that before.

+1. Has to be purged from EPG, scheduled recordings, and available recordings.
