No sign of sub on this thread either, as I said if a major release comes, ie 1.5 goes out of beta, I will do it inside mvpmcx2

To be honest, I havnt thought about volume too much because volume control has been working fine for me. I just use MCE remote and it's been adjusting the system volume.

Ok, I will do it in mvpmcx2. I used to do it internally in mvpmc but you asked me to let the server control it, and that is why I was waiting.

I can't switch fully to NPVR until I can control the volume.

I want everyone on NPVR so could you try this out and let me know how it goes.

Actually this is not fully acceptable, you can't navigate while in music, or navigate the OSD EPG because the page and volume keys are mapped to the same keys, just like the original Hauppauge remote. I think sub has to return the code when it can have more than one meaning. In music that probably isn't possible.

Getting on really well with the MVPs with nPVR now, positives certainly outweigh the negatives, but one 'nice-to-have' would be volume control on the MVP too.
Not a big issue like it was with my PCH and I'm guessing it's not as simple a fix as it was for that but no harm in asking....

Thanks again for all you help, it is very much appreciated here.

The actual software fix is trivial but I moved your question to proper forum http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...me-Control
