I am now fully converted to NPVR but I have run into a strange issue. I have one analog tuner and one ATSC tuner. Both use XMLTV listings. However, when mapping the channels, I am having a tough time keeping the mapping intact. I have done each channel at least 3 times, but whenever I come back, it is reset to something else.

Not predictable, an ATSC channel will reset to the analog channel XML file location and vice versa. It is driving me crazy.

I have started from a new install and ran into the same problem. It appears that changing the location of the XMLTV file causes all sorts of problems. Now, the analog channels no longer sends the channel to the Sat box. It worked fine until I changed the location of the XML file. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I use 4 different xmltv files with no problem, the location comes from the database so you probably need to upload your logs. If you are verifying using Setting that is a bit false information, because it returns a single value from the xml file. Also if you are running Win 7/Vista make sure that you aren't writing to a reserved location like the root directory or "Program Files"

Well, I cannot really pin point the problem, but it appears any change to the channels stop my analog tuner from sending channel number through blaster. Everything works fine in GBPVR ( I am using same blaster and same XML source).

Logs attached. I cannot really tell much on why nothing is being sent to change the channel.

OK, so the problem was that when you are viewing the channels setup window, if you double click on a channel, it will open a dialog pointing the XML file to the most recent location, and the mapping field is empty. However, if you select the same channel and click "details" then you get the correct file and mapping as stored.

As I was using the double click to view and change the mapping, I kept getting the wrong information and continued to make the changes. As the last XML file would always show up regardless of what is being stored, it kept throwing me off. In any case, I am posting this for the benefit of others who may run into the same issue. May Sub can make the Double Click and "details" button do the same thing.

As for the stopping the blaster from working, I had to change the user name for NRecord for the videoredo post processing to work. Apparently that user, although admin, could not actually run the blaster. So again, FYI in case you run into this.

It appears that there is no way to find out what a PVR-150 device is mapped to (tuner, svideo1, svideo2 etc) after setup. The only way to see that is to start over with device setup.

Finally, when a tuner device is setup through import of an XML file, the channel numbers do not map to the channel numbers in the XML file. So when using a blaster you will have to change each one individually, a pain in the butt if you have many of them. It would be nice if the numbers are automatically imported.
