Hi I try to use NVPR on a Windows 2008 R2 Server (64bit)
The installation went well and I have applayed all pathes.
The TvTuner card is a TechnoTrend Budget 1501 DVB-C card
I have installed drivers for it (BDA drivers) but I cannot find them under Settings-devices.
What should I do to fix this, or is the TvTuner not supported???

Regards

The 1501 dvb-c is definitly supported. I use one daily with multidec. Have you tried the native software for the card? What does your Devices screen look like?

Thanks for your replay. I am glad to hear that it works.
What do you meen with native software?
I have only installed the BDA drivers from TechnoTrend.
The device screen is empty. It lock like it cannot see the card (Drivers)
Do you also use 64bit? If not could that be a problem?

I'm running W7 64-bit. I mean the native tv-viewer program that comes with the card, does it work? Can you post the logfile from when you try to enter the Devices sceen in NPVR?

I fountd the tt driver install a bit quirky. I tried just installing the drivers, but gave up.
Then I installed everything on the CD, then it worked. Give that try!

I have tried to install all. No luck!
It says when I start TT Medie centre Error: InterVideo Filter wasn't found.
I have google about this and can see a lot hit about this but not and solution.
I downloaded the file form http://www.tt-pc.com so it new versions of what there are on the CD.
So native do not work!
I am running under Windows 2008 R2 server (64bit)
I have enable Windows 7 desktop features.
I have installed the newest WinDVD from Intervideo (http://www.corel.com)
That didnot help.
Even the driver says that it is working it do not show up in the device list in NPVR.

I find that strange, on the other hand I have never laid hands on a Server 2008 R2 installation so I do not know what to expect. Is it possible for you to try Windows-7 (home or pro) on that computer?

Do not use the bottons they do not work use the links in the left panel.
http://www.tt-pc.com/2959/PC_Products.html
Then I found in the list this driver.
BDA Software+ Driver
  • TT-budget Version 5.0.1.8 (16.01.09)
    Windows XP/Vista (32bit and 64bit) driver

Not to use for Microsoft MCE for DVB-S, DVB-S2 and DVB-C budget products!
  • TT-Media Center 1.0.8.2 (16.01.09)
    (Windows XP/Vista 32bit und 64bit)

Please see the "readme" file! Only for BDA TV-Application! (63 MB
    )
  • TT-BDA-Data 1.4.4.2 (16.01.09)
http://www.tt-downloads.de/ttBudget2_5.0.1.8.zip

I am now in contact with TechnoTrend Support so I will see how far I can get.
Else I will have to goto a Windows 7.
The problem still is I can install the driver but no program can see it. I have now turned on testing so I can use not signed drivers. But that did not help.
Because the driver is not signed and that can be a problem.
The support has told me that I can only use TT-Viewer. Nothing else is support under Win 7 and 2008 Server.
