F key assignment to menu items?

GBPVR used to have F keys, like F2, F3, etc to functions like DVD, TV Guide, etc. Is there something in NPVR like that? It would be great if we could dynamically link F keys to the first several choices on the menu. THen we could use Hip and our remote to jump to certain options.

the only difference in remote keys between gbpvr/pvrx2 and npvr is 1 skip key...[short skip back i believe]
even the post codes are same..
