0 byte recording from second tuner

I've noticed nPVR seems to fail to let me use both tuners. I've got a HVR-4000 and a Technisat Skystar2. It used to work fine using both but recently if it's been recording something, live TV fails etc. Here's a log from tonight when we were watching live TV with the HVR-4000 and Top Gear attempted to record on the skystar2. It correctly tries the skystar2 but gets a 0 byte file. I cant see anything from the log that looks wrong though...

There is no sign of any problem, but the device fails to lock onto any signal. Typical reasons would be incorrect frequencies etc for ths channel mapping, or incorrect LNB settings, or trying to share one LNB with two satellites or something similiar.

Thanks for the quick reply. Each card has its own cable from the dish (quad LNB) and I copied the config from the 4000 (which did the scan in the first place) - but it's possible the cable for the skystar2 has got a problem somewhere.

Hmm, just disabled the HVR4000 and sure enough the skystar cant tune in to anything. Will swap the cables over tomorrow to see if it's a cable or card problem.
