Some newuser problems

Hi,

First I wanna say this NPVR look's good and simple use (gf friendly), and channel switching is very fast.

But theres some problems.

In finland we use two languages. Finnish and swedish, so can't find anywhere where I can set language for epg. So it's uses swedish epg data default.

in Windows 7.. I can watch tv in windowed mode, but when I press max button (left from closebutton in right up corner) it shows me npvr mainmenu.. and the tv picture left somewhere behind.. and can't get it back to front, even pressing alt-tab.

Is there support for teletext subtitles? Even when I select those from right clicking, Subtitle stream -> and select finnish/swe/nor/dan(teletext) it don't work.. only romanian (dvb) text works.

My laptop in client mode don't run tv well.. but i quess that because it's using wlan.

We have one channel what's name is "The Voice/Tv Viisi", and can't put channel logo for it. Some of pvr servers read those like creating a folder like The Voice, and put in there a logo named Tv Viisi.png, or naming like "The Voice_Tv Viisi.png"

I'm in the same noob situation with NPVR too and have this same problem. So far I haven't been able to find an answer. Different decoders & video renderer settings produce slightly different results but all variations of the same issue.

Ei jaksa englanniksi, vaatii liikaa keskittymistä...
Muuta siellä settings-kanavalistassa se vitosen nimi vaikka pelkäksi Voice:ksi, niin voit laittaa logokuvalle saman nimen.
Epg on sekaisin, ei vain ruotsia, vaan molempia. Korjausta ei ehkä tule, koska Uudessa-Seelannissa ei ole useita epg-kieliä.
Ainakaan antenniverkossa Suomen tapa lähettää dvb-tekstitys ei toimi tässä softassa, kaapelista ei ole kokemusta. Tekstitys kyllä tulee nykyversiossa myös suomeksi, mutta
ajoitus ja kesto on aivan sekaisin.

For the full screen switching problem, I have no idea. I've noticed same issue, but it came after installing some of latest batches, i think, not sure.

It behaves exactly same with alt-enter. Have to enter full screen before starting play, then it works.

Sorry, there is no teletext subtitle support at this stage. I'm intending to add it in a future release though.

Odd, it doesnt do this here. What video renderer are you using?

I've tried all of them and they seem to produce different results but variations of the same thing. I'm not at that computer but I remember: one setting will drop back to the tv guide/recordings/main menu (depending on where the program is viewed from) when I change the window dimensions at all; another setting I can enlarge the window but when I shrink it it will drop back NPVR. It's almost like something is failing when the window is resized, but just a guess.

I don't know if any of this info will help but I am using the Microsoft DVD-DTV decoder for video, Windows 7 64bit clean install, latest NVidia 64bit drivers, Direct X installed.

I can confirm this apparent bug occurring when switching from fullscreen to windowed. I've only noticed it recently and think it was introduced in the latest NextPVR.exe or possibly the one before [unfortunately I didn't keep the older patches].
It does not occur with 1.5.36 unpatched. If you just update the NextPVR.exe with the one in Patches Final the "bug" occurs.

Yeah, I think I broke something in the patch. I'll correct it in the next release.
