These problem stream are low bit rate so there might be some correlation with buffer and time. I wouldn't worry about it, reading 32k for a typical 128k stream won't even be noticeable. It's odd that little bit at the beginning affects the streaming 2 minutes later but maybe that error being reported is part of it and as you say it is out of our control.
