I saw blips up to 60% on the gadget CPU meter while playing back, but was usually less than 30%. I guess it depends on how the decoding is threaded since CPU @ 50% could be 100% on 1 core??

But again, decoding load should be the same from either tuner or disk... I guess VLC's path to internal codecs is just because of the hassle Sub gets due to these sorts of issues.

Good luck. DXVA would not hurt.

Seem to have fixed it with DivX HE-AAC decoder (fingers crossed). Have had no previous issues with Monogram, and thought it was the only option till this post.... Thanks to everyone who took the time to reply Smile

I've got the same symptoms. No lip-sync issues in gbpvr, but in npvr, TV3 which has both he-aac and ac3 tracks on dvb-t it is not in sync unless I either disable the he-aac decoder or enable the he-aac decoder and choose the he-aac audio stream while the video is playing or in live tv. Tried the divx aac decoder, but it made no difference.
Pic of decoder settings attached.
Regards,
Hasso
