NPVR stops responding after watching a recording

Maybe not an NPVR issue, but I need help. Every time I watch a recorded show and let it play to the very end of the recording, NPVR locks up and I have to ctrl-alt-del to kill the program. If I stop it before the end, no issues. Does not happen if I play the file via Media Player Classic. Using FFDSHOW as the codec in MPC. Not sure what is being used in NPVR. No problems in NPVR for non .ts video files.

Win XP, VMR9.

I cant see any errors in the logs. I'd probably start with trying other decoders to see if it makes any difference.

Wasn’t this problem cured by a recent patch? It certainly stopped this problem on my client.

Yes, there was a problem like this for client PCs, but he doesnt seem to be using a client PC so it wont be the same issue.
