You are welcome to my script, but it does weird things. I post process for a WD TV Live, which has issues with FF & REW on TS files. It is a work in progress, but the relevant command at the moment is
%FFMPEG% -y -async 48000 -i %ACTUAL%%SUFFIX% -vcodec libx264 -f ipod -threads 16 -fpre "%FFPRE%\libx264-ultrafast.ffpreset" -sameq -g 100 -crf 25 -ac 2 -ab 128k %VERBOSE% %ACTUAL%.mp4 >> %ACTUAL%.log 2>&1
and yes, the -f ipod is required!

I hope this helps.

Hmm. Your murder.ts is at 1920x1080 which is different to mine.
It also has both mp2 and ac3 streams.

We have GEM provided by WIN Sunshine Coast.

I cant see anything wrong in yours - they are just different.

Different. Hmmm. I'm confused.

When I run ffmpeg it wants to map stream 0.0 to 0.0 and 0.1 to 0.1. If these don't contain video and audio streams, it seems to me that this is a problem. For example, Earl on 7mate has audio on 0.3 in Hunter Valley and 0.2 in Sunshine Coast. Also, my script chokes on ac3 5.1 audio as I specify the audio stream to be mp2.

I don't have my head around the idea of presets with ffmpeg. What is in the file in libx264-ultrafast.ffpreset in your script?

I also have a WD Live and have the same problem with FF & RW. (I also can't jump to a particular time, except I think this is a problem with the WD Live)

Thanks again for your help.

Greg
