Did the forum glitch or reset or something?

I was typing a reply to SystemShark's "Post Proicessing Changes" thread, and when I posted it said "This forum is not accepting new posts" or something like that, and now the thread is gone?

Here's my reply to SystemShark, in case it's useful:

To acheive what you want, you could set your recording directory to c:\temp. Transcode it there in your PostProcessing.bat, move the file over to your D: drive and then use NScriptHelper to change the filename/path in the database.

That said, I might wonder about the wisdom of doing that kind of heavy writing and re-writing on an SSD. SSD's are much better about that these days, but you still don't want to create a scenario where you're writing way more than you need to. You might consider transcoding from the SSD to the D: drive directly to reduce the number of writes to the SSD. You should still get a pretty good performance benefit just by the fact that you're reading from one device and writing to another rather than back-and-forth on the same device.
