Ability to access settings from system tray

It would be helpful to be able to access NPVR settings from the tray icon in situations (such as mine) where the NPVR screen and the Windows desktop are each plugged into separate inputs on the same TV.

In my case, NPVR displays on an HDMI input, the Windows desktop via a VGA input. To access settings, I have to switch to one TV input, right-click on Settings, navigate the menu, and switch inputs again to change anything. Right-clicking on the tray icon would save a lot of hassle when you're switching back and forth reach time a setting is changed.

Right now, it's a bit tortuous - I can't be the only one using NPVR as a PVR in the living room this way.....

What do you say sub?

I would also like this ability because then I could change the settings from my laptop via my RDP connection rather than having to go to the physical server.

BrettB, just create a desktop or start menu shortcut that runs

"C:\Program Files(x86)\NPVR\NextPVR.exe" -updateepgonly

I'm obviously missing something here, but why would you have the the PC connected to two different inputs at once, when you can only ever view one of them at a time? Why not just run a single output to the HDMI input?

I'm snowed under right now, so not commiting to any new stuff right now, but maybe for a future release.
